Disney actually shared their churro bites recipe! So I figured I would write it down for you so we can make it during our quarantine time! This recipe feeds 4 people.

What You Will Need:

1 cup water

8 tablespoons butter

¼ teaspoon salt

¾ teaspoon ground cinnamon, divided

1 ¼ cups all-purpose flour

3 eggs

1 ½ cups vegetable or canola oil

½ cup sugar

How To Make It: First, you will need to combine the butter, salt, water, and 1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon in a 1 1/2-quart saucepan – over medium heat, bringing it to a boil.

Once it boils, bring the heat down to low. You will then add flour and stir it until the mix becomes a ball. Once it forms into a ball, you will have to remove it from the heat and let it rest for 5-7 minutes.

Then, you will add the eggs, one at a time, and stir it until they are all combined. Once that is done, set it aside.

You will then need to heat oil in a medium skillet or a 1-quart saucepan over medium-high heat, or until the temperature reaches 350 degrees F.

Once the oil is hot enough, you will spoon the dough into a piping bag with a fitted large star tip. Pipe 1-inch strips of dough over the saucepan, cut it with a knife, and drop it into the hot oil! Repeat this step until the churro bites fill the saucepan – with room to fry.

Fry them until the are golden brown. Once they are, use a slotted spoon or meth spider strainer to bring them out. Put churros on a paper towel to get any excess oil out.

You will then need to mix the sugar and 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon in a medium bowl and toss the churro bites until they are all coated.

& YOU ARE DONE! Place it on a service plate with your favorite dipping sauce and boom! Enjoy!

Have you made these before? How did they turn out?
