Pomegranate can be eaten so many ways. With an avocado toast for breakfast, a snack at any time of day, in a salad with your lunch, or as a sauce with your steak for dinner. The ideas are endless! But, did you know pomegranate has so many health benefits? Not only does it taste delicious, but it internally helps you in a positive way, with so many different factors.

A main benefit of pomegranate is that it is packed with antioxidants! Both the juice and the seed carry antioxidants. The antioxidants in the juice help protect cells from damage and reduce inflammation. In addition, pomegranate is full of vitamin C. If you eat a whole pomegranate, it makes up about 40% of your daily necessity. Pomegranate also protects from Alzheimer’s disease, arthritis, and heart disease. The seeds also help thin your blood, which helps protect against blood clots. It also helps oxygenate your blood.

Pomegranates have some surprising health benefits that you may have not known about. They are high in iron, soothe stomachaches, lower cholesterol, anti-aging, and help protect your teeth! I am not going to lie, I did not know these facts until I did more research on them. Another fact that shocked me was that pomegranates are full of fiber, helps improve memory, and helps fight fever.

As I mentioned previously, you can consume pomegranates in so many difference ways. You can eat them plain, add them to a salad as a topping (preferably a feta salad, it works wonders together), make a pomegranate spritzer, dessert (toppings for a brownie, make pomegranate muffins, etc..), or go wile and make a sorbet! Like I said, the ideas and recipes are endless! There are so many delicious options, and feel free to reach out! I have a bunch of recipes!

Overall, pomegranate has so many beneficial benefits when consumed, and has so much nutrition, its the perfect addition to any meal!
